My summer bag

I so wanted to sew a summer bag just for me, not for sale, and I finally did it! I got the fabric, a gorgeous jersey in mint and gray, back in January from Berlin and all these months I tried to find a design that I like. A few days ago, as I was searching for something else, I bumped into this site and this great tutorial that inspired me to sew my own bag. I picked out a neutral lining, a white cotton fabric that my mom gave me with some other fabrics she found in our attic, and that was it. I had the materials, just the two fabrics and my sewing machine, I had the tutorial and just in a couple of hours the bag was ready :) And today it went for it's first bike ride at the beach and the marina.
